10% Rise in Click Fraud From Botnets in Q3...

While click fraud overall dipped slightly, Q3 saw a 10% rise in fraud from botnets, responsible for more than 27% of all click traffic, according to the company's Click Fraud Index. Key findings from the study: The overall industry average click fraud rate was 16.0% for Q3 2008. That's down slightly from the 16.2% rate reported for both Q2 2008 and Q3 2007.
